Credit Suisse derivatives chief moves to Asia

Credit Suisse has promoted its head of European securities structured derivatives sales, Osama Abbasi, to head of global securities for non-Japan Asia and Australia.

In the newly created post, Abbasi will oversee sales, structuring, trading and research across equities and fixed income. All of the bank’s product and country heads in the region will report to him as well as to their existing superiors.

Abbasi will report to New York-based head of global securities, Mike Ryan, and the bank’s Asia
