Moulds appointed president of EMEAA at BoA

Jonathan Moulds is to take over from William Fall as president of Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia (EMEAA) at Bank of America in London following Fall’s announcement of retirement after 11 years at the bank. The appointment will be effective immediately, although Fall will remain at the bank until the end of June to assist in the transition.

Moulds, who was head of global markets for EMEAA and is also chairman of the International Swaps and Derivatives Association in London, has been integral in building up the company’s presence in the over-the-counter derivatives markets, and recently helped found the Global Capital Markets Board, a joint forum bringing together Isda, the Bond Market Association and International Capital Markets Association (Isda, ICMA and TBMA form joint capital markets body). In his new position, he will report to Gene Taylor, vice-chairman and president of global corporate and investment banking.

A spokeswoman for the bank said the appointment would not affect Moulds’ current role at Isda. She said the bank was likely to announce his successor as head of global markets for EMEAA in the next two weeks following an internal assessment.
