JP Morgan's Daniels Webster to retire

JP Morgan Chase’s global head of market risk and fiduciary risk management, Lesley Daniels Webster, is to retire in February.

The precise reason for her departure is unclear. According to an internal memo viewed by RiskNews, Daniels Webster will “pursue her personal and professional aspirations outside the firm”.

After her departure, the management team for market risk and fiduciary risk will report directly to Don McCree and Don Wilson, respectively. Wilson is JP Morgan Chase’s chief risk officer; McCree is deputy head of risk management.

Daniels Webster is a stalwart of JP Morgan’s risk team, having served as head of market risk for 11 years.
