UK Insurance - Thiam to succeed Tucker at Pru

Mark Tucker will step down as group CEO of City-based life insurance giant Prudential in October, at which point he will be replaced by the current director of finance, Tidjane Thiam. Former professional footballer Tucker will leave after a total of 23 years in two stints at Prudential, and nearly five in the top post, and has no further career plans in place.
