Six years after joining JP Morgan Private Bank, Rhian Horgan has been appointed global head of equity derivatives, demonstrating just how important structured products have become to the bank. By John Ferry

In taking on her new role as JP Morgan Private Bank's head of global equity derivatives, Rhian Horgan last month swapped the modernist drabness of London Wall, where the bank has its main European office, for New York's rather more upmarket Park Avenue. "I've seen a phenomenal amount of creativity and growth in the European and Asian structured equity product markets during the last couple of years while I've been in London. We're just starting to see that happen in the States now, so it will
