Standard Chartered makes structured products push

Emerging market specialist looks to build a cross-asset hub

Standard Chartered, which traditionally has been seen as an emerging-market foreign exchange and cash management specialist, is setting up an Asian-headquartered structured products trading and modelling team. To that end, the bank has reorganised parts of its investment banking division, has been hiring talent from around the region and plans further big hires in coming months.
