Oriag to be disbanded

LONDON --

The Operational Risk Implementation Advisory Group (Oriag), originally set up by the UK’s Financial Services Authority (FSA) to provide feedback to the regulator on the structure of the op risk capital charge, is being disbanded. According to minutes posted on the FSA’s website, the group is going to be replaced by three new groups. Oriag has met only sporadically in 2003, since Colin Tattersall was appointed as manager of op risk policy.
