UBS hires Paget to derivatives marketing role

UBS Warburg has hired James Paget as an executive director in the European financial institutions derivatives marketing group, part of the firm’s interest rates division. Based in London, he will report to Philippe Jordan and Jacopo Levi-Morenos, co-heads of the European financial institution's derivatives marketing.

Paget will be covering UK and Swiss insurance companies and pension funds, advising them on asset and liability management, interest rate and duration management, as well as credit exposure management.

“In the current market environment, these issues are proving to be major challenges for these companies, and James's arrival is a further testimony to UBSW's dedication to this client sector,” claimed Raphael Geys, head of fixed-income derivatives marketing and structuring in UBS Warburg's interest rates division.

Paget joins UBS Warburg from Goldman Sachs, where he worked in a similar capacity. Prior to that he worked for JP Morgan.
