Biltoo joins CreditTrade

Krishna Biltoo has joined London-based credit derivatives trading platform CreditTrade as its new head of product development.

Formerly the head of credit and risk at Reuters Information, Biltoo was responsible for the launch and development of Reuters Credit, an internet product that links all the commonly used information on the world's top 26,000 capital markets issuers and loan obligors. The issuer information is backed up by a set of benchmark spreads, credit derivatives prices and risk data. Biltoo was also a non-executive director of New York-based risk software company RiskMetrics, which was spun off from JP Morgan in 1998.

Commenting on Biltoo’s new appointment, Paul Ellis, chief executive of CreditTrade, said: "His excellent reputation in credit and risk markets speaks for itself, and he is expected to play an important part in developing CreditTrade’s growing range of products and services in these fast-moving markets."
