WestLB derivatives head quits for the arts

WestLB has hired Ian Clifton as its new head of derivatives within its global financial markets (GFM) division, after the previous head, Dominic Palfreyman, quit to pursue a career in the performance arts.

Clifton joins WestLB’s London office from Dutch bank ABN Amro.

In his new role, Clifton will report to Humphrey Percy, head of WestLB's GFM division. All of WestLB’s client products are housed under the GFM umbrella, including fixed income, derivatives, emerging markets, loan syndication and debt capital markets.
