Goldman Sachs appoints derivatives marketeer for Swiss clients

Goldman Sachs has expanded its European fixed-income corporates team with the appointment of Maroan Maizar to run its foreign exchange and derivatives marketing effort for Swiss clients.

Maizar will report to Zar Amrolia and Chris Grigg, co-heads of the European corporates group, and will be based in London.

He joins from Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) in Zurich, where he was director of derivatives marketing for Swiss corporate clients since 2000. Prior to that, he was co-head of forex sales, eventually expanding this role to include multi-product derivatives sales to CSFB’s Swiss clients.
