Goldman hires new head of inflation flow business

David Lofthouse has taken up a position at Goldman Sachs as head of inflation flow business in London.

In his new role, which he took up at the start of the year, he will manage the bank's global inflation-linked business, including bonds and some of the less complicated derivatives.

He reports to Driss Ben-Brahim, global head of exotic interest rate derivatives and inflation trading.

He leaves RBS Greenwich Capital in the US, where he was managing director of inflation bond trading.
