Barclays appoints Jenkins chairman for Middle East

Barclays has appointed Roger Jenkins chairman of investment banking and investment management (IBIM) for the Middle East.

In this role, Jenkins aims to further strengthen relationships with Barclays clients in the region. This new position will be in addition to his existing roles as chief executive of Barclays' private equity, principal investments and structured capital markets, and as a member of the IBIM executive committee. He will remain based in London.
