BNP Paribas has added six people to its London equity and derivatives division.

Silvan Herringer has moved from the hedge fund Octa Capital to become head of index flow, reporting to the head of index option trading, Stephan Petermann.

Lloyd Michaels and Andrew Ellis join as traders in the equity finance team: Michaels from UBS, where he was a director of equity finance, and Ellis from Bank of America, where he was an equity finance trader.

Three more BNP Paribas employees - Mickael Assuied, Gabriel Messika and Faical Oudmine - transfer from Paris to London as synthetic equity finance traders.
