Sebton leaves Isda for JP Morgan

Emmanuelle Sebton, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association’s head of risk management, has left to join JP Morgan.

Sebton joined the association in 1999. As well as being head of risk management, she also served as co-head of Isda’s European office. In her new role at JP Morgan, she will continue to be based in London, working with the bank’s risk management group.

Sebton has worked on issues of regulation regarding regulatory capital requirements and credit derivatives since 1997. Her previous postings have included roles at the Bank of England, UK Financial Services Authority, Agence France Trésor and Caisse des Dépôts.

She also contributed a chapter on regulatory capital treatment of counterparty credit risk to the book “Modern Risk Management: A History”, which was published in celebration of Risk’s 15th anniversary in 2002.
