Lehman’s Coym replaces Fischer as Eurex chairman

The exchange council of Eurex Deutschland has elected Peter Coym as its new chairman to replace Leonhard Fischer, who resigned the post when he left Dresdner Bank on October 31 last year.

Coym is a board director of Lehman Brothers Bankhaus in Frankfurt and was previously vice-chairman of the council.

Meanwhile, Heinrich Linz, a Dresdner borad director and the bank’s chief risk officer, was named vice-chairman and member of the board of Eurex’s exchange council.

The exchange council is the highest controlling and supervisory body of Eurex Deutschland.
