JP Morgan Chase appoints new Asian structuring head

JP Morgan Chase has appointed Kim Hong as head of its Hong Kong-based investor clients group for Asia ex-Japan and the structured finance/ structuring and solutions group for Asia, including Japan.

He replaces Guido Haller, who has moved to London to join JP Morgan Chase’s European credit and rates team. Kim was previously senior country officer for JP Morgan Chase in South Korea, a position he held for three years. Steve Lim and Myung Han Kim will replace Hong as co-senior country officers.

The US bank has also hired Jennifer Sriprasert to join its credit and rates structuring team in Hong Kong as an associate. Sriprasert was previously a consultant with McKinsey. In her new position, she will report to Lionel Semonin, Hong Kong-based head of structuring for Asia ex-Japan.
