Tranter leaves BNP

Nick Tranter, BNP Paribas' London-based European head of equity derivatives flow sales, left the bank this week. His responsibilities will be taken on by Jean-Eric Pacini, formerly head of structured product sales for the bank in London.

Tranter joined in January 2008 as the bank's first head of European equity derivative flow sales. Prior to that, he was head of European structured and flow equity derivatives sales at Morgan Stanley in London.

Pacini, who joined BNP in 2005, will take on a new position as head of sales for equities and derivatives in London. It is understood the role will be an extension of his previous duties as head of structured product sales, as BNP looks to streamline its sales operations. Pacini will report locally to Shaun Weinstein, head of equities and derivatives in London; Remi Frank, global head of sales for equities and derivatives and Eric Le Brusq, deputy head of sales for equities and derivatives in Paris.
