Credit Suisse strengthens Asia-Pacific equity derivatives

Credit Suisse has appointed Min Park and Ken Pang as co-heads of equity derivatives and convertibles for the Asia-Pacific region. Both men will be based in Hong Kong and report to Osama Abbasi, head of Asia-Pacific equities.

Park and Pang were previously UBS's co-heads of Asian equity derivatives. Credit Suisse's former Asia-Pacific head of equity derivatives and convertibles, Alex Lin, left the bank in January.

Pang joins as head of equity derivatives and convertibles trading for the Asia-Pacific region. He will lead the entire derivatives and convertibles product platform and be responsible for trading, risk management and infrastructure development. He previously ran equity derivatives trading for non-Japan Asia at UBS.

Park joins as head of equity derivatives and convertibles sales, Asia-Pacific. He will oversee all derivatives and convertibles sales, distribution and structuring functions. He was previously head of all derivatives sales for Asia excluding Japan at UBS, where he worked alongside Pang's trading team.
