DTCC names risk chief

The New York-based Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC) has named Douglas George as its first chief risk officer.

George moves from Citigroup, where he was head of payment systems risk management. At DTCC he will head the established 50-strong risk management team, and will be responsible for enterprise risk management, including handling credit, market, operational and strategic risks.
