Morgan Stanley IM hires Kos to head sovereign arm

Dino Kos has joined Morgan Stanley Investment Management Asia in Hong Kong as head of central banks and sovereign wealth funds.

Kos was previously executive vice-president of the markets group at the New York Federal Reserve, responsible for trading in repurchases, government securities, foreign exchange and foreign reserves management.

At Morgan Stanley, he will report to the head of investment management for Asia, Blair Pickerell, and will be responsible for the firm's coverage of central banks and sovereign wealth funds outside the US.
