Credit Suisse forms new equity products group

Credit Suisse has formed a London-based equity derivatives product management group with Stephane Diederich appointed as head, effective from this week. Diederich will report to Simon Yates, head of global equity derivatives and co-head of European equities at Credit Suisse.

Diederich will be responsible for promoting and positioning the equity derivatives products across all sales and distribution channels of the bank. The group will support the distribution effort, monitor the sales budgets and, in close co-operation with the equity derivatives structuring team, be responsible for product innovation and development.Diederich has been with Credit Suisse for 13 years, initially with Credit Suisse Financial Products, the bank's former derivatives subsidiary. During his time with the bank, he has held various roles in derivatives, most recently co-ordinator for institutional equity derivatives coverage in Europe, as well as regional head for equity derivatives coverage for Germany, Austria and the Netherlands.
