Algo’s Dembo joins Prmia ‘blue ribbon panel’

Ron Dembo, founder and president of Algorithmics, the Canadian risk management software and advisory company, has joined the ‘blue ribbon panel” of advisors to the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (Prmia).

The panel advises the board of Prmia on its development as a grass-roots professional association, and comprises leading figures in the risk management profession. It includes representatives from professional associations including the International Association of Financial Engineers and the International Swaps and Derivatives Association.

Chairman of the panel is Bob Mark, president of Black Diamond Consulting and former head of risk management at Canadian bank CIBC.
