Alpha appoints Rogers to new UK marketing role

New York-based Alpha Investment Management has hired Carcie Rogers to boost its marketing efforts to large financial institutions in the UK and the rest of Europe.

She joins Alpha’s London offices from Barings Asset Management, where she marketed alternative investment products. She previously worked at Liberty Ermitage, a boutique fund of hedge funds firm.

Her new boss, Nigel Meir, managing director of Alpha in the UK, said Rogers would help develop institutional relationships between Alpha and financial institutions in Europe. Clients currently include US investment bank Merrill Lynch and UK insurer Prudential.

Alpha is a fund-of-hedge-funds management company with offices in Geneva and Bermuda, in addition to London and New York.
