Deutsche appoints Asia-Pacific global finance and FX structuring head

Deutsche Bank has named Ray Franzi to the newly created role of head of global finance and foreign exchange (FX) structuring for Asia-Pacific.

Franzi transfers to Singapore from Deutsche Bank in London, where he was a director in the global FX structuring business. He is responsible for leading product innovation and expanding the bank’s FX structuring platform in Asia.

He reports regionally to Clifford Cheah, head of global finance and foreign exchange for Asia, and globally to Rashid Hoosenally, global head of global finance and foreign exchange structuring.

Franzi has 10 years’ financial markets experience, with the past eight years spent in foreign exchange structuring. He joined Deutsche Bank in 2005 from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in London, where he was global head of foreign exchange and commodities structuring.
