New vision for equities at Merrill

Merrill Lynch is hatching some ambitious plans for its equities business, following a change in leadership at the US securities giant. Dow Kim, the new president of global markets and investment (GMI) banking, says the plans include full integration of the firm’s equities sales, trading and advisory services into a single global platform and also rapidly developing its equity derivatives franchise.
