Purge at AIB
Six senior executives have left Allied Irish Banks (AIB) in the wake of the Rusnak scandal, including Allfirst treasurer David Cronin. The bank plans to appoint a chief risk officer and an adviser to the board on risk, following the completion of its internal investigation into the loss of $691 million at Allfirst, its US subsidiary.
