Business impact analysis (BIA)Management’s analysis of an entity’s functions, and interdependencies used to characterise contingency needs and priories in the event of a disruption.
Business resilienceTypically centres on a specific business function or unit.
Cold siteA back-up facility that has the necessary electrical and physical components of a computer facility, but does not have the computer equipment in place. The site is ready to receive the necessary replacement computer equipment in the event
