Shane Edwards, global head of structuring at UBS, is understood to have left the bank. His departure is part of a reorganisation of the investment banking operations, which sees equity and fixed income combined in a single sales and trading unit.

Edwards joined the Swiss bank in 2012 as global head of equities structuring and was promoted to head of equity derivatives in 2014. Prior to joining UBS, he worked at Royal Bank of Scotland, where he headed equity derivatives structuring in Hong Kong
