Back in 2012, Meteor Asset Management issued a six-year income autocall linked to the FTSE 100 index. The product offered investors a potential income stream of 7.25% if the index was above 65% of its initial level on any of the annual observation dates.

The plan also had the potential to mature early from the end of the third year onwards if the index was no lower than its initial level on each anniversary. Investors' capital was not protected at maturity if the 50% closing-day barrier had been
