Big banks unite behind cyber security information sharing platform that could change the way cyber crime is combated

The way banks fight cyber crime could be overhauled with the introduction of a new data sharing platform designed to combat cyber risk, due for release on December 2.

Soltra Edge, developed jointly by the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS-ISAC) and the US Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), is expected to save financial institutions both money and labour in tackling cyber attacks through a data sharing community approach.
