James Boyle has assumed the role of global head of equity derivatives at Citi, replacing Simon Yates, who left the bank in July, according to a Citi spokesperson. Boyle is based in Hong Kong, having joined Citi in 2012 as head of derivatives trading for Pan-Asia, and later assumed responsibility for all trading in the region. In his new role, he will report to Derek Bandeen, global head of equities, and will remain in Hong Kong until 2015, at which time he will relocate to New York.
