UK financial advisers understand the meaning of independent investment advice, according to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). But if they do not know, or are unsure, then not to worry, the regulator is continuing in its mission to clarify certain issues to provide further support for those that remain unsure of what standard they should be adopting, and there is even a video on the FCA website at www.fca.org.uk to help them.
