BAML hires former Barclays oil head

Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) has hired George Cultraro as its global head of oil trading. It comes after the bank's former global head of oil trading, Thomas Andersen, was reported to have left to join Russian oil producer Lukoil. Cultraro previously served as New York-based global head of crude oil and refined products at Barclays, before leaving the bank earlier this year. In his new role at BAML, he will continue to be based in New York.
