In a year when some banks have shied away from structured fund activities, Credit Suisse has adapted to provide services to an increasing range of industry participants. The Swiss bank stayed in the game by providing guaranteed liquidity against a semi-liquid hedge fund portfolio and increasing its operational capabilities by partnering with SunGard.

"This year has been characterised by adding new client types to our portfolio, including family offices and pension funds," says Cameron Hedger
