S&P Dow Jones Indices launches Mila indexes
S&P tracks Andean equities; Bank of China Hong Kong and FTSE track offshore renminbi; ATX Global Players index lands in Vienna; FTSE launches environmental tech index
S&P Dow Jones Indices has launched the S&P Mila Sector Indices, which measure the primary sectors of the Andean equity market. The Mercado Integrado Latino Americano (Mila) platform is an integrated trading venture formed by the Chile, Colombia and Peru stock exchanges. The series includes the S&P Mila Financials and S&P Mila Resources indexes, which are based on GICS sub-industries from the financials and energy, materials and consumer staples sectors, respectively.
