The Esemplia Emerging Markets Long/Short Fund may be tiny at $7 million of assets under administration but the portfolio team has ambitions to raise this to at least $500 million or more by the end of the year.

Esemplia Emerging Markets, backed and supported by Legg Mason, is a dedicated global emerging markets equities manager which started managing money in emerging markets in the early 1990s. After a period of research and development, it launched its long/short strategy in late November 2007
