China - a mirror of Japan?

Some suggest China resembles Japan of the 1970s - before the Nikkei shot over 10 years from 1,500 to 40,000. But if they're right, then why use a long/short fund to enter the dragon?

While equity investments into Japan have the capacity to multiply investor's money fourfold over the next 20 years, according to some commentators, some see China's fortunes as multiplying allocations by up to 20 times.
