One way or another, the weather played quite a hand in the February's gathering of the Family Office Luncheon Club. Not only had it been snowing in and around London, which duly wreaked havoc with all routes to Claridge's, but there was also a distinct meteorological bent to the agenda, which featured a weather fund and a reinsurance fund, alongside a Japanese fund with Chinese slant and a market-neutral financials fund.
