Steady growth

As a growing number of long-only fund managers have rushed to enter the hedge fund asset class in the past 12 months, many commentators warned it may be too much too soon. Managers say, long is not the same as short and have predicted not all of the stars of traditional asset management could make the transition to hedge funds smoothly.
