Bank of Montreal emerging markets straddle delivers returns in rising and falling markets

Straddle structure linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund has no upside cap and offers a return whether the underlying rises or falls

The Bank of Montreal has launched a two-year, dual directional product linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets Index Fund that offers investors 100% participation in the growth of the underlying asset with no cap on returns. It also offers the opportunity to profit from any falls in the fund, subject to barrier conditions. Capital is at risk at maturity if the barrier of 75% (exact terms will be set at pricing) is breached during the product term.
