BAML Asia commodities chief to leave

BAML Asia-Pacific commodities head Tsai is leaving the firm, say industry sources

Bank of America Merrill Lynch Asia-Pacific commodities head Benjamin Tsai is understood to be leaving the company, according to industry sources.

The reasons and exact time frame for Tsai’s departure are not known and a spokesman for BAML declined to comment when approached.

Tsai is a longtime employee of the bank, first joining the firm in 2001 in the equity structured solutions division, according to his LinkedIn page. After serving as co-head of the structured products group in Tokyo, he was
