The BNP Paribas foreign exchange structuring team shrugged off corporate uncertainty arising from the European debt crisis this year to produce made-to-measure distributor solutions that showed a flair for complexity and detail.

Economic uncertainty meant European corporate treasurers eschewed long tenors and structured enhancements for simple vanilla hedges. BNP Paribas responded by upping its game in the distributor space, building relationships in Russia and putting its reputation
