Exodus from Cargill’s Singapore operation

Entire palm and vegetable oil trading team exits trading house

Global agricultural trading firm Cargill’s entire Asia trading team for palm and vegetable oils has left the group’s Singapore-based subsidiary, Cargill International Trading, according to industry sources.

When contacted by Asia Risk, the firm issued the following statement:

“We have had employee changes and departures in Cargill’s oil palm and vegetable oil trading operations in Singapore. No other Cargill businesses are affected. We are fortunate to have strong trading and operations teams
