Houari leaves Barclays to head equity structuring group at Deutsche Bank

Hassan Houari has ended a 12-year career at Barclays to take up a role as global head of structuring at Deutsche Bank in London

Deutsche Bank has hired Hassan Houari for its equity derivatives team in London as global head of the equities structuring group. He joins from Barclays, where he was a managing director and head of equity derivatives structuring, and most recently head of equity and funds structured (EFS) markets.

Houari was replaced as head of structuring at the UK bank earlier this year by Mohammed Ali 'Dali' Bacha, who has assumed broader responsibilities as head of EFS, a role that includes structuring and
