UK distributors get defensive with volatility structures and multi-asset deposits

The UK structured products markets is still saturated with FTSE-linked deposits, though a few exotics are appearing on the menu

The range of products offered in the UK in March were broadly similar to February's offerings: a blend of FTSE 100 and S&P 500 index underlyings in deposit form, though more volatility and multi-asset products are starting to appear.
