Basel guidance on settlement risk delayed until June

Updated guidance on foreign exchange settlement risk from the Basel Committee and CPSS was originally expected by the end of 2011, but now has an expanded remit

A major supervisory report on foreign exchange settlement risk that was due to be issued for public comment by the end of 2011 has been delayed until June 2012, and is now expected to cover an expanded range of issues, sources close to the process have told FX Week.
