The Central Bank of Ireland will call for distributors to modify "soft fees" in a code that the bank plans to publish in January. While the disclosure of fees has been mandatory since 2006, the changes laid down in the new protection code will cover soft fees but also the disclosure regime, with an emphasis on how to deal with conflicts of interest.
