Exchange-traded fund (ETF) industry participants in Europe expect recent scrutiny from international financial bodies to result in more regulations governing the products.

The Financial Stability Board (FSB) last week published a report highlighting increased risks in the ETF market. The International Monetary Fund's Global financial stability report also devoted a section to the same topic, while the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), which hosts the secretariat of the FSB, published an
