Two arrested amid investigation into Kaupthing collapse say raids were a publicity stunt

The UK Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has come under pressure following the arrest of two high-profile London property entrepreneurs and their release without charge.

Brothers Robert and Vincent Tchenguiz were arrested in early March as part of the SFO’s ongoing investigations into the collapse of Kaupthing, but were later released the same day without charge. The pair’s homes and property were also subject to raids from the regulator.
